Buderer Drug Company is proud to share that several of our pharmacists have completed the Personalized Medicine Certification program through the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida (USF).
Pharmacists Rebecca Arcaro, Suzanne Fomich, Matt Buderer, and Jim Buderer successfully completed all three courses within the certification program, earning advanced training in personalized medicine with a focus on endocrinology and hormone replacement therapy.
The certification program provides in-depth education on hormonal changes throughout male and female development, including reviews of sex steroid physiology, endocrine disruptors, and hormone metabolism. The coursework emphasizes practical, real-world application such as evaluating hormone levels under physiological conditions, optimizing hormone replacement therapy, detoxification strategies, and interactive patient case studies.
All courses in the program are taught by Dr. Pamela W. Smith, an internationally recognized physician, author, and educator specializing in hormone replacement therapy and personalized medicine. The mentorship-based structure includes hands-on instruction, practical dosing guidance, and ongoing education through monthly webinars.
This certification is uniquely sponsored and backed by a highly respected medical school, making it one of the few programs of its kind linked directly to an academic medical institution. Upon completion of all three courses, participants earn a formal Certification in Personalized Medicine from USF’s Morsani College of Medicine.
